So I always forget that facebook has a spam folder in the messages section. So today I looked at this little message was hiding in there.

Its a beautiful morning for me out here today! The weather out here is cold, just came online to check my mails and i saw your profile. but that doesn’t mean you should not say hello to a beautiful lady when you see,Am not flattering you this just a way to say you look good…
hugs and kisses

Seriously, people? C’mon. Facebook is not a dating site.

I'm a single late 20s chick, living in Boston. I go on a lot of horrible dates, but some good ones, too.

  1. There are mindless spambots out there which post dumb messages. I see this happening a lot on WordPress.

  2. So annoying!!! Don’t people realize there are designated dating websites for a reason?!?!

  3. Also, I’m going to sign up for an online dating website this week, any tips?? I was thinking I’d have two profiles on two different websites; one profile would just be a regular profile and then my second one would be similar in content except I will only be putting pics up of myself that are ugly/silly/ridiculous…just to see what kind of response it will generate.

    • Yes! The only thing about different websites are that different crowds are on each. I feel that plenty of fish is mostly sketchy dudes looking to hook up while okcupid is a little more mature (little….not totally haha). But it’ll be fun! Just write your profile as you’d really talk and be honest :). My profile is like a game for guys so I get messages all the time. I’ll link you to it sometime if you want 🙂
